The Federal Government has been charged to take drastic steps in addressing the insecurity in the country.
President, Trade Union Congress, TUC, Comrade Quadri Olaleye made the call at the burial of the Secretary General of the Union, Comrade Musa Lawal Ozigi at Okene, Kogi State.
Comrade Olaleye said the call has become imperative in view of the senseless killings of Nigerians by terrorists and bandits.
He appealed to President Muhammad Buhari to as a matter of urgency take proactive steps to address the security challenges across the nation or resign as the Commander -in- Chief of the Armed Forces.

The TUC President described the late Secretary General of the Union, Comrade Musa Lawal Ozigi as a commitment member who stood for the cause of the oppressed in the struggle for justice.

Comrade Olaleye reassured of the determination of the TUC for a safer Nigeria where the the lives of all matters.
He prayed God to grant the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Dignitaries who attended the burial include the Kogi State Chairman of TUC, Comrade Ranti Matthew Ojo, State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Adeiza Momoh-jimoh, State Head of Service, Mrs Hannah Odiyo and other members of the TUC.

It would be recalled that the late Secretary General of TUC was among the dead when terrorists bombed the train conveying passengers from Abuja to Kaduna.
