Ministers of God have been charged to avoid taking the glory that belongs to God.

The Pastor in Charge of First Baptist Church, Ayegunle Gbedde, Reverend Abodunde Ayepeku gave the message in a sermon.

Reverend Ayepeku said for God’s act of faithfulness, mercies and provision, no man worth the glory as a show off but God and Him alone.

Taking his scriptures reading from John1v9-14 and Isaiah53v1-5 on the topic: Jesus Christ came to redeem mankind” the Clergyman also described the Christmas season as a period of soul winning, thanksgiving and continued dedication of one’s life to Jesus Christ whose birth signal the reconciliation of Man back God his Creator.

He said God will move to keep his own children and salvage the situation in Nigeria to His own glory.

Highlights of the service was prayers for the people as well as celebration of birthday from January to December as a token of thanksgiving to God.
