Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Adeiza Momoh-jimoh has called on journalists in the State to continue to contribute their quota to the development of the profession.

Comrade Momoh-jimoh stated this at the sendforth organised for the immediate past State Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Mr Kola Adeyemi in Lokoja.

The NUJ Chairman described Mr Adeyemi as a journalist per excellence who contributed his quota to the upliftment of the pen profession as well impact positively on his relationship with his colleagues.

He wished him more fruitful years in retirement with long life and sound health in the years ahead.
In thier separate remarks, former Staff of NAN, Mr Ahmed Dada, Chairman of the Correspondent Chapel, Friday Idachaba, Samuel Egwu of the Leadership Newspaper and Mike Abu, Chairman of the Federated Chapel and Obansa Ibrahim of the Guardian Newspaper all extolled the qualities and virtues of Mr Kola Adeyemi of tolerance, and good relationship with Colleagues in the course of his career

Speaking, the immediate past State Correspondent of NAN,, Mr Kola Adeyemi described his over ten years of service in Kogi State as eventful, impactful, fulfilling and rewarding.

Mr Adeyemi urged those in active practice to put integrity first on the job above monetary reward.

He expressed appreciation to all Journalists in Kogi State for thier warm reception, friendship and cooperation in the course of his journalism practice in the State.
