Osun NUJ Lauds NGIJ On Professional Reportage.

The Osun State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu has charged the Nigeria Guild of Investigative Journalists, NGIJ, on professional reportage.

Comrade Ajadosu gave the charge when he received the NGIJ on a courtesy call to the State Council in Osogbo.

He said the body should be guided in the assignment by the rules of the profession and let thier findings be the true assessment of the reality on ground to sustain the credibility of the NGIJ.

The State Chairman described the Guild as a body full of experienced professionals capable of doing justice to situations on ground first hand and not engaging in armchair journalism.

While wishing them a successful stay in the State urged the Body to sustain it’s activities to attract more professional to the Guild.

Earlier in his remark, a National Executive of the Guild, Rowland Olonishuwa said the NGIJ was in Osun State on an assessment tour of government projects across the State.

Olonishuwa assured of fair and balance report of Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration in the past three years as questionnaires had be distributed to critical stakeholders across the State for an objective result oriented report.
