The Onigémo of Igbomina land, Omu-aran, High Chief Solomon Ademola Ajiboye has felicitated with the entire sons and daughters of igbomina land both at home and in diaspora on the just concluded Orúgbo day celebration held in Olomu of Omu-aran’s palace, Omu-aran, Kwara State.

High Chief Solomon Ademola Ajiboye stated this while speaking with journalists in an interview on the Orúgbo day celebration that took place in Olomu’s palace.

He said it is a day set aside in history to commemorate the existence of igbomina descendants across the nation and beyond.

The Onigemo of Igbomina land said that as a Chief under the Royal Majesty, Olomu of Omu-aran, advised the youths to shun thugery in the forthcoming elections urging them to avoid violence and other social vices that can jeopardize the growth and development of Omu-aran land and the society at large.

He further stressed the need for youths to vote for Candidates of their choice as Igbomina people are not known for violence over the years in any election.

The High Chief however appreciated the Olomu of Omu-aran, Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti for his visionary leadership style, the entire Olomu in Council, Sons and daughters of Igbomina land both at home and in diaspora, friends, family and all well wishers who came home for the Orúgbo celebration.

The High Chief prayed God for more success in Igbomina land in the years ahead.
