Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Hon. Bashir Gegu says the All Progressives Congress, APC, Gubernatorial Aspirant, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo will consolidate on the developmental gains of Governor Yahaya Bello when elected into office.

Engr Gegu stated this at the inauguration of 21 Local Government Coordinators of Ododo Independent Campaign Council, OICC, in Lokoja.

The Commissioner who described Alhaji Ododo as a man full of potentials and a philanthropist per excellence said he would tap the abundant mineral resources in the State for the overall development of the State.

He expressed appreciation to the group and charged them to make thier presence and impact felt across the nook and cranny of the State.

Earlier in a paper presentation titled; “Unraveling Of A Political Phenomenal,(Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo)” a political scientist, Adeiza Yahaya Omuya x-ray the hidden potentials of the APC gubernatorial candidate as a philanthropist per excellence in all ramifications.

Omuya said under Ododo as Governor, Kogi State will witness infrastructural transformation and unparalleled development with the abundant mineral resources in every part of the State.

According to him, the core of his lecture presentation centers on preparing the vibrant youths who are ready as vanguards to take the message to the grassroots.

He urged other politicians to support Ododo’s election as Governor in view of the sterling qualities inherent in him as a believer in human development, infrastructural transformation and holistic approach to issues.

In his opening remark, the Director General, Ododo Independent Campaign Council, OICC, Alhaji Mustapha Mohammed said the group was formed out of passion and the need to work assiduously for the election of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as Governor of Kogi State.

He said the group is an independent group with members across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State all working towards achieving set goals.

Highlight of the occasion was the inauguration of the Council by the chairman of the occasion and Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Engr Bashir Gegu.
