
Appointees of the present administration in Kogi State have been charged to continue to exemplify the spirit of unity and patriotism as exemplified by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku made the call while speaking to Newsmen on his conferment as the Ogochi Attah Igala by HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa, the Attah of Igala.
Pharmacist Asuku said the call became imperative in view of the fact that Governor Bello’s achievement across the State was predicated on unity of all in respective of tribe and religion which is evident in the appointments and execution of infrastructural development which has direct impacts on the people.
According to him, the Attah Igala has also demonstrated a unique quality of leadership of an outstanding traditional ruler who desires to lead the people to a prosperous future.
He described the conferment of chieftaincy title on him as a call to more service and dedicate it to Governor Yahaya Bello promising to represent the Attah well as one of his Ambassador as well as the people.
The conferment of chieftaincy titles on eminent personalities he also stressed across the State tends to cement the more bonds that existed over the years among the people.
The Chief of Staff, urged youths to be focused, law abiding, resolute towards achieving success and be vanguard for peace and development of Kogi State.
Pharmacist Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to the Governor was among the twenty-one sons and daughters of Kogi State that were conferred with honorary traditional titles by His Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa, the Attah of Igala.
