Obedience to divine instructions has been described as a panacea for avoiding shame in 2022.

Kogi State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Bishop John Ibenu stated this at the grand finale of the Universal Week of Prayer organized by the Lokoja chapter of CAN.

Bishop Ibenu said Christians must learn to adhere to divine instructions as contained in the Bible for a turnaround in 2022.

He said though there are predictions of a seemingly bleak economy, God will turn things around for as many who will seek him and obey his words.

According to him when the right knowledge is rightly applied it shapens the life of a man for divine visitation from God.

The CAN Chairman also charged parents to teach thier children the way of the Lord and prevent them from watching films that are of no benefit to them.

Bishop Ibenu led the congregation in a prayer for the land, State and Nation as well as an end to all form of vices affecting the land and prompt release for those in kidnappers den.

In a remark, the Lokoja Local Government Coordinator, Pastor Babatunde John Oluwole said the Universal Week of Prayer was organized as part of seeking God’s divine intervention in the land and rid the people of all forms of shame.

As part of the Week, the Lokoja LGA Coordinator led executives of the body on a courtesy visit to the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Muhammadu Maikafi the third who expressed appreciation to the Association for their prayers for the land.
