Stakeholders of the Kogi state Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, have commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for Youth inclusion in his administration..

The commendation was
unanimously expressed during the stakeholders meeting with the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe in his office in Lokoja.

Speaker after Speaker at the meeting described the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Youth development as impressive and all encompassing.

Speaking the Pioneer Chairman of the Association in the state Doctor. Haruna Opotu Yusuff said the commitment of the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Youth development is commendable.

Doctor. Yusuff said stakeholders of the NYCN have unanimously resolved and come out with recommendations to express their support and loyalty to the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman for Youth development in the state.

The pioneer Chairman said the massive appointment of Youths under Governor Ododo into various positions deserved commendations.

Speaking, the State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr. Benjamin Jeremiah said the inclusion of NYCN in the State budget was the first to happen under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the state.

Mr. Jeremiah on behalf of the state Executive of the Association and the Youth in the state assured of their total support and dedication of the present administration.

He said the prompt payment of NYCN subvention monthly deserves Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo commendation and called on the youth in the state to continue support the present administration at the times.

Addressing the NYCN stakeholders, the convener of the meeting, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe said the purpose of the meeting was hinged on the need to sustain the existing unity, peace and stability of the Association in the state.

Hon Anyebe said the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has done a lot for the Youth in the state in the Area of appointment into positions of authority.

He warned against division among the body and urged to remain united always.

According to him, the Government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is a Government for all particularly the Youth and the less privileged .

The Commissioner called for their support and prayers for the success of Governor Ododo’s administration .

Present at the meeting include the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mallam Jibo Haruna Muhammed, the Director Youth in the Ministry Mrs Motunrayo Babatunde, the state Executive’s of the Association and all the Twenty One State Coordinators of the NYCN .
