The incumbent Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, FCT Chapter, Mr Emmanuel Ogbeche has been declared winner of the Council election.

The Chairman of the credentials committee, Mr Peter Bahago said Mr Ogbeche scored a total of 450 votes to defeat his rival Mr Donald Ugwu who pooled 59 votes.

Mr Ogbeche promised to rid the FCT NUJ of quacks and entrench professionalism as well as advance the welfare of members.
