The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has released the final list of shortlisted successful candidates who applied for its job recruitment exercises.

The Corps released the name of five thousand out of the six thousand five hundred candidates who were shortlisted and screened for the employment exercise from the overall one million applicants.

Addressing a news conference at the Corp National Headquarters in Abuja, the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Audi said the development marked the conclusion of the recruitment exercise which began in 2019.

In a remark, the Secretary, Civil Defence, fire, Correctional And Immigration board, Hajiya Aisha Rufai urged the successful candidates to visit the site through which they applied for the job to print out their employment letters to be presented for documentation.

Hajiya Aisha explained that the recruitment process was never stopped as being speculated in some quarters, but stalled due to the outbreak of the Covid 19 Pandemic.
