The National Population Commission, NPC, and the United Nations Children Fund, UNICEF, have commended the Kogi State Hon Commissioner, Engr Yori Afolabi and the NPC State team for a sterling work done in achieving set goals in the outgoing year 2024.

A statement by both organisations described the leadership skills of the State Federal Commissioner as exemplary with his team in partnership with UNICEF aimed at taking the State Commission’s office to the next level.

“You broke barriers to ensure that you fulfill your commitment, duties and mandate. We look forward to working with you in 2025” the statement stressed.

UNICEF restated it’s commitment to work with the State team under Engr Yori Afolabi in 2024 towards fulfilling all it’s constitutional mandate.
