Nasarawa State Government has directed all political appointees seeking elective positions in the forthcoming general election to resign before Friday April 8, 2022.

A statement by Secretary to the State Government, Muhammed Ubandoma says the directive was in compliance with the electoral act 2022 and guidelines released by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The statement also directs public servants who are interested in participating in the electoral process as delegates to resign their appointments.
