Kwara State Polytechnic Expels 29 Students.

STUDENT EXPULSION

29 students of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, have been expelled for various offences bothering on examination malpractices.

A statement by Principal Assistant Registrar of the Institution, Mrs. Opadiran Oluwakemi says examination malpractice is contrary to the matriculation oath sworn by the students.

It explains that the Institution’s Governing Council considered the report of the Academic Board in respect of the case and approved immediate expulsion of the culprits from the Polytechnic.

The statement explains that expulsion of the students is in line with the provision in the Review Student’s information and Regulations of 2019.

It urges the expelled students to hand over all Polytechnic properties in their possession to their Head of Department or the appropriate Polytechnic Authority.
