Kogi State House Assembly lifts Suspension of Okene LGA Chairman, Approves Ten New SA for GYB

Kogi State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension of Mallam Abdulrazak Mohammed Yusuf as Chairman Okene Local Government Area who was removed from office on account of gross missconduct.

The lifting of the suspension followed the apology letter Mallam Abdulrazak Mohammed Yusuf wrote to Governor Yahaya Bello pledging his loyalty to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Governor similarly forwarded the letter to the assembly for it to consider the apology and reinstate him.

After due deliberation the house voted that Mallam Abdulrazak Mohammed Yusuf be reinstated as chairman okene local government area.

In a swift reaction the reinstated chairman, Mallam Abdulrazak Mohammed Yusuf thanked God for vindicated him and promised to continue to be loyal to constituted authority as well as the APC led government in the state.

He urged everyone to join hand’s with him to ensure maintain peace in the area.

Similarly the house has approved for Governor Yahaya Bello ten special advisers slot to boost his cabinet in readiness to do more for the people of the State

The approval followed a request from the Governor for ten special advisers as well as three commissioners designate.

The Commissioners designate include, Doctor Zakari Usman, Engineer Ihiozo Abdulmutalab and Kingsley Fanwo.
