Christians have been charged to renew thier hope and in God by reflecting on the love he shown to mankind through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja made the call in his Easter message to the people of the State signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel.

Chief Onoja said the virtue of sacrifice, peace and love God demonstrated through Christ Jesus should be imbibed by all for a peaceful nation.

According to him, Christians should use the occasion of Easter to pray for an improved security nationwide for a continued peaceful co-existence.

Chief Onoja said the nation’s cultural and religious diversity is a strength to geared the people towards great accomplishment assuring of that the present administration would continue to provide an enabling environment for peace and prosperity to thrive.

He expressed appreciation to the people of the State for thier solidarity with the present administration and solicited for more cooperation and prayers for Governor Yahaya Bello especially his Presidential aspiration.
