Kogi NUJ Chairman Expresses Thanks Unto Almighty God….. As Children Graduate From Quranic School.

The Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists, NUJ, Alhaji Seidu Ademu Haruna says he owes the Almighty God the praise and thanks for the successful graduation of his children, Jemima Seidu, Abba Seidu and Khadijat Seidu from quranic school as part of his spiritual obligation as a father.

Alhaji Seidu stated this in an interview at the occasion in Lokoja.

According to him, he feels fulfilled as a father and Muslim for the graduation of the three children who completed the studying of the Holy Quran as well graduated from the school.

He expressed appreciation to members of the Council who attended en masse the programme as part of their solidarity and to felicitate with him.

In his message, the Chief Imam of State Secretariat Mosque Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, admonished Muslim parents to teach and train thier children to be able to read the Holy Qur’an and abide by it’s injunctions.

Chairman of the occasion, and a judge with the kogi state Sharia Court of Appeal, Justice Idris Abdullah charged parents to appreciate children who are able to recite the holy Qur’an as well as support in the propagation of Islam.

The Guest Speaker, Barrister Muhammad Suleiman Maihaja enjoined the people to support the Islamic school to achieve set goals.

He urged those yet to have such Islamic school to establish it for the propagation of Islam.

Highlights of the graduation was the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by the graduates.
