
The Kogi State Security Adviser to Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, Commander Jerry Omodara Rtd, has commended the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, KOSIEC, for the arrangements put place for today’s conduct of Local Government election in the State.
Commander Omodara who stated this after casting his vote at Ward one, Unit one Olle/Oke Offin ward in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area said the Commission’s arrangement made the process seamless alongside the deployment of security personnels.
According to him, with the large turnout, he is optimistic of victory for the party in the Local Government Area and expressed appreciation to the people for the unflinching support for a successful outing.
Also speaking after casting his vote in Aiyede Bunu, the Commissioner For Education, Hon Wemi Jones said the arrangements put in place by KOSIEC was second to none as electoral materials arrived at polling centers for the election which was hitch free.
Hon. Jones said with the massive turnout and support from their supporters, APC candidates is coasting to victory .
He expressed appreciation to the people of the area for their orderly conduct assuring of dividends of democracy at the grassroot.
Also a political stalwart from Olle Bunu, Engr John Fasagba after casting his vote described the process as excellent and KOSIEC preparation as the best and Commission could offer.
Engineer Ibisagba who expressed pleasure with the conduct of the electorates said APC will win overwhelmingly across the 21 Local Government Area of the State both the chairmanship and councillorship seat without iota of doubt.
