The Executive Chairman, Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Haruna Ibrahim, AKA DSTV, has assured of a grassroots development of the Council as well as an inclusive Governance.

Hon. Ibrahim stated this after collecting his certificate of return from the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, KOSIEC, in Lokoja.

He said the desire of Governor Usman Ododo is the development of the grassroots hence his the intention of the 21 Council Chairmen to key into that plan to make local government areas a developmental hub of the State.

The Executive Chairman assured the people of Ijumu Land of fostering unity among the people, and ensure that all are carried along in the scheme of to.

Hon. Haruna Ibrahim expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo for the trust of leadership upon him at the Local Government level, all All Progressive Party stalwarts, electorates and well wishers promising not to betray the trust but justify the confidence reposed in him.
