Kogi state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,NSCDC,has charged the rank and file to shun all acts capable of giving the corps a bad image

The New state Commandant of the Corps, Esther Akinlade gave the charge while taking over the affair of the command from the outgoing Commandant Paul Igwebuike who has being promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant of the Corps, ACG.

Commandant Akinlade said she would improve upon the achievement of his predecessor in the area of discipline, intelligence gathering and tackling crimes and criminality in Kogi State.

According to her ,measures will also be put in place to enable personnel of the Corps perform maximally on the job.

In his remarks,the outgoing Commandant, ACG, Paul Igwebuike solicited for continued support of the rank and file to the new State Commandant to enable her fulfil the constitutional mandate and plans of the Commandant – General Ahmed Abubakar Audi for the Corps.
