A People Democratic Party Presidential Aspirant, Governor Nyesom Wike says he is the race to salvage the nation from the security and economic challenges confronting it headlong.

Governor Wike stated this in Lokoja while addressing the State party’s delegates to the PDP Presidential primary to be held in Abuja.

He said the nation is confronted with myriads of challenges and he is committed unreservedly to tackle all with his experience and achievement as a Governor of Rivers State.

The Governor appealed to the State delegates to support his ambition of winning the ticket for the party’s flag bearer in 2023 presidential election to change the nation’s present narratives.

Earlier in a remark, the PDP State Chairman, Mr Samuel Uhuotu assured Governor Nyesom Wike of the support of the State’s delegates in the forth coming Presidential primary of the party

Mr Ohuotu said the nation is in dire need of a leader who would change the narratives in every sector of the economy.

In thier separate remarks, former Governors of the State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Captain Idris Wada both extolled the sterling qualities of Governor Nyesom Wike and promised to support his ambition to achieve set goals.
