The member representing Kogi State in the National Population Commission, NPC, Abuja, Honourable, Engr. Yori Afolabi has felicitated with the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim aka DSTV, his Deputy, Hon. Olumuyiwa Tunde and all Councillors for successful inauguration.

Hon. Yori Afolabi said with the inauguration, the Council is set for new dawn of grassroot growth and development.

According to him, also with the constitution of the Legislative Council, Ijumu land shall be great again.

He described the Chairman and his team as experienced and seasoned politicians and technocrats whose desire is to bring everybody on board in respective of party or religious affiliations.

The Federal Commissioner restated his commitment to continue to partner with all elected officials at the Council to achieve desired goals for the people of Ijumu Kingdom.

He also expressed appreciation to Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and all political gladiators for bringing a fresh breath of life to the people of the State.

” It’s indeed a dawn for all under the present administration as the Local Government has received a new lease of life with financial autonomy to develop the nooks and crannies of the State.”
