Christians have been charged to support thier leaders physically and spirituality.

The General Overseer, Christ United Mission, CUM, Pastor Adebayo Olowo made the call at the ordination of Deacon Ebenezer Sunday Olu as a Pastor in Lokoja.

Speaking on the topic: “The Calling of God” said God’s calling is into partnership which requires his grace, anointing and absolute obedience and humility among other things to succeed in Ministry.

He described Deacon Ebenezer Sunday Olu as a dedicated and faithful member of the Mission who has served in various capacity in the past twenty years in CUM.

He prayed God to help him succeed in the new calling as a Pastor and make more disciples more Christ in the years ahead.

Speaking about the life of the ordained Pastor, Ebenezer Sunday Olu, one of the Senior Pastor of the Church in Lokoja, Pastor Julius Olukotun described him as a :”reliable, prayerful, matured, intelligent, dogged, blunt and humble Minister in God’s vineyard”

While administering oath of office of a Pastor of CUM on the ordained Pastor Ebenezer Sunday Olu, Pastor Titus Andero prayed to God to help him succeed in his new position. In a remark, the new ordained Pastor of CUM, Lokoja, Pastor Ebenezer Sunday Olu solicited for continue prayers for him by all to fulfill the mandate of God upon his life.

He appreciated the leadership of the Mission for the privilege and promised to justify the confidence reposed on him by heaven and the leadership.

In attendance are family members, friends, colleagues and members of the Iyara Christian Fellowship Lokoja branch and that of the headquarters, Iyara where Pastor Ebenezer Sunday Olu has equally made significant spiritual impact.

Highlights of the programme was prayers of consecration and anointing for service for him and his family.
