Christians have charged to celebrate in moderation and extend hands of fellowship to the less privileged in the society.

Kogi State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Special Apostle Adebayo Emmanuel Olaniyan gave the charge in his Christmas message to the people of the State.

Special Apostles Olaniyan said the season is just for celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ but to also show to the needy, visit those challenged in one way or the other as well as giving of thanks unto God for the gift of Christ Jesus as the Saviour of the world.

He equally called for sustained prayers for leaders in position of authority for a greater Kogi State and Nigeria.

According to him, the present administration is making significant progress in the area of welfare of workers hence the need for support and prayers for more successes in other sectors of the State economy.

The Chairman prayed for sustained unity among adherents of different religions in this festive season and beyond.
