Christians have been urged to use the occasion of Easter to show love to the less privileged in the society.

Kogi State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Special Apostle Adebayo Emmanuel made the call in his Easter message in Lokoja to the people of the State.

Special Apostle Emmanuel said showing love and giving to the less privileged was part of the virtue of Christ whose resurrection is being celebrated all over the world.

He equally called for a moment of sober reflections and sacrifice as exemplified by Jesus Christ who defeated the powers of darkness.

While celebrating Easter, Christians should also prayed for leaders in position of authority as well as a peaceful general elections in the country.

The CAN Chairman wished all Christians a happy celebration in peace, love and joy .
