The people of the State have been urged to renew thier faith in God inspite the current challenges in the nation.
A Guest Minister, Reverend Father Ezekiel Awolumate made the call at the 2021 Annual Power Crusade and Revival organized by the Lokoja Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, at the First Baptist church, Lokoja.
Reverend Father Awolumate said God allowed some of the events unfolding in the country for a purpose which He would use to show forth his power and glory in the lives of the people.
According to him, Kogi State will witness a great and prosperous change to replace the seemingly fruitless toiling of the people.
Earlier in his opening remark, the State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Bishop John Ibenu said the 3-day programme was put together for a positive turn around of things in Kogi State.
In his welcome address, the Lokoja chapter CAN Cordinator, Pastor John Oluwole expressed appreciation to God as the program planned since three years ago has become a reality.
Pastor Oluwole said the 3-day crusade will be a time of refreshing in God’s presence for all the people and the State at large.
Highlights of the programme was songs ministration by the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, CSN, Pastor J B Nihi, and prayers for Kogi State led Reverend Frank Paul of the First ECWA church, Lokoja.
