Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo has been described as an exceptional Leader who’s commitment remains unparalleled in annals of Kogi State.

The Chairman, Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission Alhaji Andas Malik made the remark in a Congratulatory message to the Governor on his one year in Office.

Alhaji Andas who was full of comendation to the Governor for his exemplary leadership style, said Alhaji Ododo has left no stone unturned in administrating the State since he assumed office one year ago.

According to him, the Governor had worked tirelessly to put smiles on the faces of all segments of the society and was still vigorously working to take Kogi State to a higher pedestal of development, pointing out that the speed at which Governor Ododo was working was unequalled and unparalleled, expressing optimism that with the zeal with which he started governance, Kogi State in no distant future will stand tall with the comity of States.

“I will not fail to mention some giant strdes this government had taken to reposition the State economically. This ranges from the proposed plan to have an airport in Kogi State, an ultramodern International market in Lokoja, ongoing construction of massive projects execution in two tertiary institutions in the State, road construction across the State, prompt payment of salaries to the State workers and Pensioners, security of lives and property among others.

He said the transformative efforts of the current government was not only impactful and people -centred, but maintained that the State Capital and other strategic towns are now wearing a new look to the admiration of all and sundry.

He thanked his predecessor, the immediate past Governor of the State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the choice of Governor Ododo to succeed him and said, Ododo’s efforts so far has been complimentary and rewarding.

As you can see, all sectors of the State. Infrastructural development is receiving a touch, like education, health, agriculture among others, these are indicators that the temple of development if sustained would forster more economic growth of the State”.

The Commission Chairman particularly eulogized the Governor for the apt attention to the wellbeing of the State Legislators, Commission Members and Staff especially the financial autonomy granted to the Assembly giving strength to the independence of the legislature.

Giving all the achievements so far recorded by the Governor, Alhaji Andas is urging the people to continue to support the present administration in its quest to ensure total transformation of the State.

On behalf of himself, the Members, Management and Staff of the Commission congratulated the Governor on his one year in Office and prayed Allah to continue to bestow him and members of his cabinet with good health and wisdom to propel the state to higher heights.
