A House of Representatives Aspirant under the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Architect Salman Idris has expressed confidence in the electoral process with the introduction of BVAS by INEC.

Architect Idris who stated while speaking to Newsmen in Aiyegunle Gbedde said BVAS has further strengthened Nigeria’s electoral system.

According to him, the Presidential and National Assembly elections was peaceful across Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in view of the people’s desire to elect credible leaders.

On the need for INEC to give Nigerians in diaspora chance of exercising their franchise, the ADC aspirant called for the need to improve on the nation’s network system which he stressed is a prerequisite to institutionalizing diaspora voting.

He commended INEC for improving on the previous electoral process as well as the electorates for orderly conduct which made the exercise violence free.

On the outcome of the exercise, he expressed confidence in his ability to win the election based on the confidence reposed in him by the people as a tested and trusted party man.
