Kogi State Government has been commended for the ongoing construction of Ganaja fly over bridge in Lokoja the State capital.

The Aguma of Shagari Community in Zango, Chief James Tukura Jere made the remarksin Lokoja.

The Royal Father said the efforts of Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja at transforming the state has written their names in gold as their Unity of purpose is second to none.

According to him, the current administration in the State has changed leadership narratives as
Governor Yahaya Bello has provided enabling environment for the development of the State through participatory governance.

Chief James Tukura Jere on behalf of the people of Shagari Community in Zango maintained that the Government ingenuity at providing basic amenities to citizens of the state is quite exceptional and appealed for the construction of a primary school and Health Care Centre in Shagari -Zango Community.

The Royal Father reiterates his determination to mobilize the people of the Community for the Presidential bid of Governor Yahaya Bello in 2023 as he has shown capacity in tackling insecurity challenges across Kogi State.

The Aguma Shagari Zango Community maintained that the State Government has equally given hope to the less privileged across the State.

He also thanked the Chief of Zango Engineer John for his leadership style that has ensure peace and development of the community.

The Aguma called on the people of the the community to Shun vices inimical to the growth of the community as well as the State

Chief James Tukura Jere also called on the National Independent Commission to establish Polling Units in Shagari Zango community to enable the people perform their civic responsibilities.
