Muslims have been urged to continue to reflect on the values of charity, community cooperation and compassion as part of lessions learnt during the Ramadan.

The Chairman, Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Malik Andas made the call in his felicitation message to Muslims in and around the world on the occasion of Eidel-Fitri.
Alhaji Malik Andas said the sacrifices and selflessness demonstrated during the period of Ramadan have not gone unnoticed by Allah who has promised to reward every Muslim that engaged in the exercise.
The Chairman admonished adherents of Islam to continue to practice self discipline and control as exhibited during the fasting period as such behavior have positive and enduring impact not only in thier personal lives but the society at large.
He appealed to all and sundry irrespective of political or religious affiliation to consistently uphold the State and the Country especially Leaders in prayers to bring the Country out of the myriad of challenges confronting the nation and for a vibrant economy.
According to him, the 2023 elections is going to provide yet another opportunity for Nigerians to elect thier Leaders at all levels of governance to place the country on the path of national growth and development.
“Above all the negative tendencies militating against the nation, security to lives and property has become a major challenge steering us us on the face to a level of undermining our corporate existence as a nation, hence we must look inward to carefully elect a leader who is endowed with what it takes to secure the Country for the greater good of it’s citizens”.
He said the qualities needed to salvage the Nation is inherent in the person of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, whom he called a political juggernaut, a bridge builder who has transversed the length and breath of Nigeria hence the need for the people to give thier over whelming support to fix the missing link which has brought the Nation to the present security and economic challenges.
While congratulating all Muslims on behalf Members and Staff of the Commission advised against all forms divisive tendencies capable of hindering the progress of the Nation.
