The Provost College of Education Technical, Kabba Doctor, Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro has bagged an award for promoting educational values and contributing to the growth of the sector positively.

The award was conferred on her in Lokoja by the “The Nigerian Post Newspaper” during her annual lecture on the topic: “Governance, Leadership Re-Defined, This House Must Not Fall”.

Presenting the award to Doc. Jagboro, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo who represented Governor Yahaya Bello described the Provost as a seasoned educationist who has impacted on the institution through her initiatives of taking it to the next level.

According to Fanwo, the Institution recently invented a tricycle, which can also be converted to a cargo and transport human respectively under the Provost leadership as well as drone by student of the College which attest to her exemplary qualities as the head of the School.

Speaking to newsmen, the Provost expressed appreciation to the Editor- In-Chief of the newspaper for recognizing her modest contributions to the Institution as well as the educational sector attributing it to the unflinching support of the Management team and the non interference of the Governor Yahaya Bello in the running of the College.

She dedicated the award to God, Governor Yahaya Bello, the Comminnioner for Education, the Management Team and the Students for their unwavering support at making COET Kabba a pride of place.
