The World Health Organization, WHO has attributed the high burden of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and other chronic ones to lack of physical activities.
WHO, Country representative, Dr Walter Mulumbo Kazadi made this known at the third edition of the global “Walk the Talk” health challenge exercise in the FCT metropolis.
The event was organized by WHO Nigeria in partnership with the Ministry of Health and partners.
The Health for All Challenge event is to raise awareness on health issues and the need for exercises that promote a healthy lifestyle.
