The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna has been described as a prudent officer who in the last one year has spent the accrued resources to the Council judiciously.

The Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the National Population Commission, NPC, Abuja, Engr Yori Afolabi stated this in his congratulatory message to the Chairman on the occasion of his One year anniversary in office.

Engr Afolabi said Alhaji Haruna has impacted the lives of the people as well as make meaningful infrastructural development across the three districts of Ijumu LGA in all sectors, strengthen security architecture in collaboration with the State Government as well sustain peace and unity among the people.

According to him, the Council Chairman has indeed justified the mandate bestowed on him and promised his continued partnership with his administration to achieve set goals.

The former Minority Leader of the State House of Assembly also expressed appreciation to the legislative arm of the Council for giving the Executive Chairman the needed support.

He wished him more landmark achievements in the days ahead.
