Three persons have been arrested by the Nasarawa State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC for allegedly committing various crimes including rape, defilement and robbery.

Parading the suspects before newsmen in Lafia, the command Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Corps, DSC Jerry Victor said two of the suspects were arrested for defilement and rape while one was for robbery.

He stated that one Andy Dominic was arrested for allegedly defiling a three year old neighbours daughter around Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia.

According to the NSCDC State PRO, one Usman Abubakar was also apprehended after forcefully having carnal knowledge of a fifteen year old girl from Agyaragu-Tofa in Lafia local government area .

Also paraded was a twenty-seven year old ex-convict, Mustapha Sule from Laminga in Nasarawa local government area who allegedly stole a bag containing various items including money in Keffi.

In an interview with Radio Nigeria, the three suspects confessed to have committed the acts and pleaded for mercy.

The rape victims were receiving medical attention while the perpetrators will be charged to court.
