Kogi Team Ododo Support Group has held a special prayer session in honor of the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo for his success in the forthcoming Governorship election in Kogi State come November, this year.

The prayer which took place in Lokoja attracted dignitaries from within and outside Lokoja as well as Co-ordinators and Supporters of the Group from the twenty-one local government areas mobilizing for the victory of the candidates.

The prayer offered by some Islamic Clerics, sought the grace of Allah to enable Alhaji Ododo Usman and his Deputy emerge victorious in the November election to continue the good work of Governor Yahaya Bello.

They prayed for peace and stability of the State and smooth process of governance , during and after the coming election.

The Muslim Clerics prayed that the coming in of Ododo will further consolidate on the development of the State so far achieved by the present administration and foster unity among the various segment of the State.

The gathering also featured prayer for the success of the Present Administration under the leadership of the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who has worked tirelessly to advance the course of the State.

The Convener of special prayer session, Mallam Abdulmajeed said Supporters of the Kogi Team for Ododo Group is working assidiously for the success of APC and its Candidates in the forthcoming Governorship election in Kogi State.

He noted that the mobilization of the group for the success of the party and its Candidates was born out of his desire to see Ebiraland in particular and Kogi State in general move to greater heights.

In his remark, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Urban Development, Mallam. Ibrahim Jibo expressed optimism that with the collective support from all groups, the APC will win overwhelmingly in the forthcoming Kogi state Governorship election.

He appealed to them to remain resolute in their support, saying they stand to gain more dividends of democracy as the desire to see Alhaji Ododo Usman’s aspiration come through and thanked them for their support so far.
