The Nasarawa State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised to support the National Chairman of the party to succeed.

The state Deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe who led delegates on behalf of the Governor stated this during a courtesy visit to the Chairman at the party secretariat in Abuja

The Deputy Governor congratulated the National Chairman on the victory of the party in producing the President-elect, describing him as a dogged politician who is determined to achieve success.

“You are a round peg in a round hole. Indeed, the cap fit you and you only as far as we are concerned. We are proud of you as our father and as our mentor”.

Dr Akabe who pledged solidarity of the APC in Nasarawa State, said Nigeria needs people like him, advising that all hands should be on deck for the progress and development of the country.

He appreciated members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for their support during the election and the achievement of the party

He described Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the father of politics in Nasarawa State, saying the people of the state hold him in high esteem.

“The state is solidly behind you and we will continue to be behind him because you are one of the best if not the best the state can offer”

Responding, the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, thanked the delegates for their sacrifices and show of love, commending the effort of the Governor in the state.

He appreciated them for coming to identify with him for the second time since he assumed office, praying for God’s reward and protection upon them.
