Civil Servants in Kogi State have been charged to make meaningful impact on people while in active service.

Wife of Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church Owerri, Deaconess Oluwakemi Shiyanbade made the call a thanksgiving programme organised for Mrs Emily Bola Fache who retired from Kogi State Civil Service having attained the age of Sixty years and mandatory years of service.

Deaconess Oluwakemi Shiyanbade said the celebrant who recently retired from the Civil Service impacted lives within and outside the service urging the people to give “help” the urgency it deserves as show of love and care could win multitude of souls to God’s kingdom.

She urged parents to also affect the lives of their children, grandchildren and neighbours by the show of love and invest time in thier education and spiritual life as testified to in the life of Mrs Emily Bola Fache by the people.

Also in a remark, Professor Emmanuel Ohize while talking about the celebrant said; ” the journey into 60 is very peculiar to human beings especially as a widow who God helped to raise godly seeds”.

Professor Ohize said Mrs Fache excelled successfully as a civil servant with a good record and as great mother .

In her testimony of the celebrant, Mrs Victoria Ipemida described Mrs Emily Bola Fache as a mother indeed who stood by her family at her times of trial especially while trusting God for the fruit of the womb.

Also Mrs Patience Jimoh described her mother as caring, loving, discipline and prayerful Mum who raised all her children to live a God fearing life and useful to the society.

Speaking, Mr Segun Momoh said Mrs Fache is a woman full of dignity and self worth who succeeded in pulling the family together despite the death of her husband years back.

In her testimony, the celebrant, Mrs Emily Bola Fache expressed appreciation and glory to God for his faithfulness over the years as a widow, and to the members of Living Faith Church Lokoja, the husband’s family and friends for being there for the her and the children in the past 24 years of widowhood.

Highlights of the programme was prayers led by the Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church Lokoja, Pastor Ben Andrew and reading of the celebrant biography by the daughter Joy Emmanuel.
