As the People of Kogi State mark the thirty second year anniversary of the creation of the State, there are a lot to appreciate God for in the journey so far.

So says the Chairman of the Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Andas Malik in his felicitation message to the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the people of the State.

The Chairman on behalf of Members, Management and Staff extolled the giant strides of the Leaders who through dogged efforts and resilience worked to bring the State to its current Status.

Recalling the journey from Kwara and Benue States where Kogi State was carved, Alhaji Andas said the State in thirty-two years has recorded tremendous achievements in all sectors considering that it started from the scratch and today can stand tall in infrastructures and human capital development and having a stake in the comity of States.

He posited that the support and understanding of all, irrespective of class, status and creed have in no small measure contributed to growth of the State this thirty-two years, soliciting the continuous understanding of the people as the state move to another political sphere of her life.

The Commission Chairman who was full of praises for the founding fathers of the State, paid glowing tribute to them and expressed optimism that the State will yet witness outstanding results having laid strong foundation for its growth.

He on behalf of Members of the Commission commended the Governor of the State for his tireless efforts in ensuring that Kogi State is recognized and positioned to attract development that could transform the socio-economic life of the people.

Alhaji Andas called on all and sundry to sustain their support for the government in its quest to actualise it lofty programs and take the state to greater heights.
