The Federal Commissioner representing Kogi at the National Population Commission, NPC, Abuja, Honourable Engr Yori Afolabi has felicitated with Engineer George Olumoroti, Managing Director, Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority Ilorin, ( Kwara and Kogi) and Hon. Abidemi Adeyemi as Executive Director,.Finance, Lower Niger Basin Development Authority, Kwara/Kogi on thier appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as members of the Executive Management of the Board of the Authorities.

Others are; Hon Abdulahi Sadiq from Kogi Central flank for Lower Niger and Hon Hasan Omale from Kogi East flank for Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority respectively.

Hon. Engr Afolabi in his congratulatory message described the appointees as men of experience, impeccable character who have rendered selfless services to the State and the Nation at various stages.

According to him, their appointment would also help in the development of the authorities to fulfil it’s constitutional mandate.

The Federal Commissioner expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for deeming it fit to include the two illustrious Sons of Kogi State in the reconstitution of the Executive Management of the Authorities.

He wishes them the best as they pull their experiences and expertise together for the betterment of the Authorities.

Engr Afolabi pledged his support towards the success of the appointees in office .
