Muslim Ummahs in Kogi State have been advised to imbibe the virtues of love and sacrifice as taught by Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Kogi State Branch Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Special Apostle Pastor Dr Adebayo Emmanuel Olaniyan gave the advice in his Sallah message to the people.

He emphasized the need to give to the poor, needy and vulnerable around them in the spirit of brotherhood with a view to bringing happiness, relief and comfort to them and in obedience to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad

He also felicitated with Kogi State Chairman and leader of Jamaatul Nasril Islam, JNI, Ambassador Usman Bello, and others for this great unique celebration.

While felicitating with the Executive Governor ( Chief Servant) of Kogi State Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, members of the State Executive Council, and the entire Muslims in Kogi State, urged the people to continue to pray for the Governor who has put smiles on the faces of the people for God guidance, protection and more wisdom in his quest to move the State to its promised land.

He specifically lauded the Governor’s bold initiative of paying the State debts of N98.8 Billion owed by past administrations and his achievements in all sectors of the State economy as well as giving priority attention to the distribution of palliative to the less privilege in respect of their religious background.

He also commended him for prompt payment of worker’s salary , leave bonus and pensioners welfare.
