The Chairman, Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Andas Malik has felicitated with Members of the newly inaugurated Eight Assembly of Kogi State

Alhaji Andas in his congratulatory message enjoined the Lawmakers to work as a family to provide the people the desired dividends of democracy.

The Chairman reminded them of their primary responsibility in making good laws for the good governance of the State and well being of the people.

According to the him, the task of developing the State is a collective responsibility of all arms of government and urged the Legislators to ensure cordial working relationship with the other arms to take the State to the pinnacle of development.

He assured them of the Commission’s collaborative role in strengthening the workings of supporting Staff in the drive to making good laws capable of bringing the desired changes in the State.

He expressed optimism that the Eighth Assembly will do well giving the crop of people elected into the House and urged them to pay attention to every program being put in place to equip them for thorough legislative business.

Alhaji Andas called for a roburst and effective legislation soon as they settle down for legislative business, pointing out that the people of their constituencies are desirous of their coming to contribute their quota towards the development of their constituencies and the State in general.

While praying to Allah for sustained grace to do their beats, Alhaji Andas on behalf of the Commission Members, Management and Staff congratulated the Speaker, Principal Officers and Members for their successful inauguration and wished them a successful session in the Assembly.
