Christians have been charged to be selfless in giving to God’s work.

Elder Prophet Emmanuel Olowo of First ECWA Church, Iyara gave the charge at the church harvest and Eighty-Fifth birthday thanksgiving of Mama Rodah Oredolapo Olorunmaiye in Iyara.

According to the preacher, God’s desire is for Christians to give from their heart not on compulsion to attract his blessings.

In an interview, he described Mama Rodah Oredolapo Olorunmaiye as a giver to God’s work as well as a committed worker in the church.

Also speaking, the Minister in charge of First ECWA Church, Iyara, Reverend Emmanuel Ayodele described Mama’s devotion to God as second to none as well his love for all.

Reverend Ayodele prayed for many years of sound health for Mama Olorunmaiye in view of her unwavering support to the Church of God.

Speaking, the son of Mama, Mr. Theophilus Ade Olorunmaiye described the mother as a gift to the children who laboured over the years to make all successful in their various fields of endeavor.

He expressed appreciation to all who attended the harvest cum the Mum’s 85th birthday programme praying journey mercy for them back to their various destinations.
