Newly decorated officers of the Nigerian Police Force, Zone 8 Headquarters Lokoja have been charged to display high level of intelligence and professionalism.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, Akeem Adeshina Yusuf gave the charged in Lokoja.

Represented by Administrative head of Zone 8, Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, Otabor, Festus, the AIG said promotion comes also with responsibility hence the need for more dedication, patriotism and dedicated to duty.

Also speaking, the Zonal Intelligence Officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, Ahijo Lawson urged the officers to continue to perform their duties according to the constitutional provisions to achieve set goals.

Speaking on behalf of the decorated officers, the Public Relations Officer of Zone 8 Police Headquarters, who was also promoted from the Rank of Inspector now ASP ll Awi Ruth expressed appreciation to God for the privilege to be promoted to their new ranks and pledged to that they would justify the confidence reposed in them.

She also thanked the AIG Zone 8, AIG Akeem Adeshina Yusuf for his exemplary leadership at the Zonal headquarters and proactiveness at all times.
