Kogi State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists has directed members to boycott any programme organized by Mr. Idris Miliki of the the Conscience For Human Rights and Conflict Resolution, CHRCR, over unwarranted verbal attack on the State Chairperson of NAWOJ, Mrs Ann Olurinde.

The directive was signed by the State Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh and Comrade Ademu Seidu Haruna respectively.

The directive became imperative in view of Mr Miliki “rabid” behavior over a friendly comment by Mrs Olurinde on WhatsApp platform which led to the development.

He was said by his action to have “denigrated the Union through his uncomplimentary remarks about NAWOJ which is part of the NUJ”.

“Members seeking for Civil Societies’ Opinion on any story are advised to do so with other responsible Civil Society Organisations that are abound in Kogi State”

The directive was said not to be binding on sponsored radio or Television programmes currently running in any stations by Mr. Idris Miliki’s organization.

Members are strongly advised not to flout this directives in thier own interest.

“His finger has frequently gone into the naked anus and has come out with offensive odour, fouling the air’ the statement added.
