Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has reassured intending investors in the State of Government’s readiness to partner with them towards the overall development of the State.
Governor Bello stated this when he received the Chief Executive Officer of a pharmaceutical company, SAVID, from the United States of America, USA, and his team led by Kenzie Davis I. Lokoja.
He said that Kogi State is making concerted efforts in its quest of infrastructural development and would be willing to have genuine partners to take the State from a core civil service One to an unprecedented industrial hub.
The Governor stressed that Kogi State once developed would make the needed impact to other parts of the country in view of it’s strategic location.
Governor Yahaya Bello pledged his unflinching support to the investors of the safety of thier investment and personnel urged them to carry the people of the State along especially thier would be host community to give them a sense of belonging.
In a remark, the Chief Executive Officer of SAVID, Lenzie Davis, said they were in Kogi State to invest in the health care sector through partnership with government.
Davis who stressed that his company was into medical research, pharmaceuticals, Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, and supplies of safety gear and diagnostis would thier technical know how to bear in their proposed investment in the State.
He promised to key into the due process of the State Government and put in the best that could offer in terms of services, equipment and personnel.
In a remark, the State Commissioner of Finance and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Ashiru Idris assured the investors that Kogi State Government has put the needed infrastructure in placeto ensure the ease of doing business in addition to adequate security, access to land and manpower.
