The Provost College of Nursing, Obangede, Mrs Hannah Abraham has debunked the news on some social media platforms that she claimed that the State Government abandoned the capital projects in the institution since 2018.

A statement signed by the management made available to Newsmen in Lokoja also said that she was quoted out of context of what transpired at the budget defense at Assembly Complex.

According to the statement, the present administration under Governor Yahaya Bello has invested much in the infrastructural transformation of the College as well as accreditation of courses more than previous administration in Kogi State.

The Provost in the statement urged media professionals to always cross check their facts before publication as she was commended for her performance by House Standing Committee on Health and Social Services for her efforts at running the College.

The Management College of Nursing Obangede described the publication as a figment of the imagination of the writer and an attempt to smear the image of the Provost and the management of the institution.
