RCCG City Of David Lokoja Celebrates Cultural Sunday.

Culture has been described as a means of fostering unity among Nigerians.

The Pastor in charge of City of David Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Phase Two, Pastor Mrs Eunice Ajiboye stated this at the celebration of cultural day of the Parish in Lokoja.

Citing Psalm 67v 5-6, Pastor Ajiboye said that the cultural fiesta was necessary for people of diverse culture and background to praise God in thier dialect giving him all the glory .

She also called on members of the Parish who are eligible to vote to get register to enable them exercise thier constitutional franchise in the forth coming general elections.

Speaking in an interview, a member of the church, Mr Abiodun Titus Ojo said the cultural day celebration is a welcome development which allowed diverse people with different culture render praises to God for his continued faithfulness.

Mr Ojo also called on the people to get their PVCs to bring about the needed change in the Nation’s political space.

Also speaking, Mrs Alami Okedi said the programme which was first of it’s kind in the Parsh was a right step in the right direction as it will foster more integration amongst members.

Highlights of the Cultural Sunday was songs rendition in different cultural dialets and prayers.
