Nigerians have been charged to prepare for a paradigm shift in all ramifications in the new year.

Reverend Frank Paul of First ECWA Church, Lokoja stated this at the ongoing Universal Week of Prayer organized by the Lokoja Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Lokoja.

Reverend Paul said God would cause a positive change from shame and fear to glory in the lives of His children as they call upon him in the New Year.

He urged Christians to remain focused on God for a dramatic and prosperous turn around and let go of the negative perceptions of last year.

According to him, Jesus Christ remains the source of genuine blessings hence the need for a relationship with him for a fruitful year devoid of pain and lack.

Lokoja LGA CAN Coordinator, Pastor Babatunde John Oluwole in a remark appealed to Christians to remain steadfast and consistent in their service to God to avoid any shame as God’s promise is sure for a definite change in 2022

The 2022 Universal Week of Prayer which is an annual programme also witnessed special ministrations in songs by Pastor J. D Nihi and Mrs Mary Okpanachi as well as special prayers among other events.
