Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba is to witness more transformation academically and infrastructural wise

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Marietu Tenuche stated this at the burial and outing service of Madam Felicia Omorubu Olumodeji, mother of Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro, Provost College of Education Technical Kabba in Ayere, Ijumu Local Government, Kogi State.

Professor Tenuche said the ongoing reforms in the Institution is aimed at achieving set goals of producing qualified graduates who can compete favourably with their counterparts from other institutions.

She attributed the modest achievement recorded thus far to the attitudinal change by the students, commitment of Staff and non interference in the running of the University by the State Government.

While commending Governor Yahaya Bello for giving the needed attention and resources to the Institution to operate, she assured of the unflinching support of the Staff, management and students to the present administration and prayed for a greater Kogi State and Country under his leadership.

The Vice Chancellor had earlier commiserated with the Provost College of Education Technical Kabba, Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro on the death and burial of the mother, urging her to take solace in the fact that her mother lived a fulfilled life.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Rector Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja Doctor Salisu Usman Ogbo said the authorities was not going to compromise standards in its bid to reposition the institution.

Doctor Ogbo who had earlier commiserated with the Provost, College of Education Technical Kabba, Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro on the death and burial of her mother, Madam Felicia Omorubu Olumodeji said Kogi State Polytechnic is set to witness more innovations and academic transformation.

According to him, the key to success is doing the right thing at the right time without fear or favour, expressing appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for giving the Management of the Institution the free hand to operate, promising to justify the confidence reposed in him and the Staff.
