The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja Doctor Salisu Ogbo says students of the institution can compete favourably with thier counterparts in any part of the world.

Doctor Ogbo stated this while presenting products made by students of the Institution Entrepreneurship Development Center.

He said the students are well trained to be self reliant with technical knowledge to make them employers of labour after graduation.

The Rector said thirty programmes of the institutions have being accredited and expressed appreciation to the State Government for it’s Unflinching support for the Polytechnic as well as approving the payment of promotion arrears for staff for enhanced service delivery.

The Association of Business Educators also presented the Governor with a Distinguished Merit Award and conferred on him Fellowship Award in recognition of his achievement in the Education sector.
